After 31 months of working for Blue Solutions a leading software distribution company in Wokingham I am leaving for a new job working for a digital agency in Basingstoke. I felt the time was right for a new challenge and my iPod was running out of tracks. We only learn by challenging ourselves and I felt the challenge had stopped.

With the amount of advertising thrown in your face these days its really hard to pay much attention to it and take it all in…unless it is one of these! Some people might say these are going to far to premote the product. I say, if they get you talking about it with family, friends and collegues they have done a pretty damn good job.
They have made a slight change to the iconic logo. The first logo was designed in 1905 and since then it has been evolving. Most people would recognise the blue red with a white wave, but now you will be seeing a “smile” inside the red and blue circle. US will be seeing the new design in shops early 2009.
In the modern day of advertising there’s quite a few guidlines out there that we should follow to not upset people, but these seem to be changing – great for us the designers.
